Renee (she/her) is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker in the state of Minnesota. She is working toward licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She also holds a Licensed Master of Social Work in the state of Texas. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Social Work in the city of New York.
Historically, Renee has helped those seeking asylum in the United States, those seeking safety from situations involving domestic violence, and those recovering from sexual assault. Additionally, she has worked in residential and inpatient settings where people were recovering from eating disorders and co-occurring disorders.
Currently, Renee works primarily with individual adult clients. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, personality disorders, body image issues, and relationship problems. She particularly enjoys working with the LGBTQIA+ population.
Renee offers a warm, caring, and direct approach with her clients. Clients can expect to be treated with dignity, empathy, and respect. Renee believes in meeting each client where they are at and that each person is the expert in their lives. She hopes to leave each client feeling empowered to make the best choices for their lives and recovery.
In her free time, Renee can be found spending time with her animals, riding her horses, hiking, kayaking, or spending time with loved ones.
