Margaret (she/her) is an empathetic therapist passionate about walking alongside clients in their journey to full recovery. With a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bethany Lutheran College, Margaret is pursuing licensure as an LPCC. She has experience working with individuals of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and body image distress. She has a special passion for working with adolescents and young adults. Margaret’s approach is person-centered, and she believes that respect and acceptance are key to building a strong therapeutic alliance that fosters growth and change. She strives to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be their authentic selves. She is committed to providing evidence-based treatment by utilizing techniques from DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
When not in the office, you can find Margaret either spending time outdoors embracing all that Minnesota weather has to offer, at home reading a good book while cuddling with her cat, or spending time with family and friends.
