Lauren Mast, MA, LPCC (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She is an easy going and approachable clinician who will be creative with clients in session and work to meet them where they are at. Much of her work involves using a strength-based and person-centered approach in combination with CBT/DBT techniques. Lauren will help you explore, develop, and enhance different skills in order to create a life where you can thrive. 

In 2016, Lauren received her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois where she lived for ten years before returning to her home state of Minnesota. Her favorite things about Chicago are the food, the culture, the LGBTQIA+ community, the museums, and the architecture.

Lauren began her work at The Emily Program in 2018 where she quickly found her natural passion for helping others improve their relationship with food and their body. Lauren’s overall clinical experience ranges from children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with various aspects of mental health including eating disorders, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ concerns, anxiety, depression, OCD, or life transitions and changes.
