Sarah Lux



Sarah Lux (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of North Dakota. She has a wide variety of experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds and is LGBTQI+ affirming. Sarah has provided individual, family, and group therapy in inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient settings. She has supported clients with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, and more. Additionally, she has a strong background in substance use disorders in providing assessments, therapy, and interventions.

Sarah is passionate about taking the time to help clients feel heard and understood. She enjoys using a collaborative approach in assisting clients to find answers to difficult problems. Sarah believes everyone has the capacity to heal and evolve and is flexible in providing interventions that resonate with each individual client. The most rewarding part of her work is seeing clients gain more confidence and self-compassion.

Sarah lives in Rapid City, SD with her husband, two step-sons, dog named Chicken, and cat named Oreo. She enjoys painting and creating art, nature in the beautiful Black Hills, traveling, and watching true crime documentaries.
