Alexandra Masciotti



Alexandra (she/her) began her social work career with veterans and first responders in New York City. She has over 14 years of experience working with a wide range of populations including women and children in the NYC shelter system and extensive expertise in the field of substance use, addiction, and trauma-informed interventions for justice-involved clients spanning residential, outpatient, and drug treatment courts. Prior to joining Gather, she worked for several years in an inpatient psychiatric hospital on Randall’s Island where she offered individual and group counseling, clinical supervision for interns, and critical crisis intervention. She is a clinical adjunct professor at Stony Brook University’s online CASAC program.

She earned a BFA from Pratt Institute’s School of Art and a master’s degree in social work with honors from Lehman College.
